Pontedassio is a comune located in the Province of Imperia within the Italian region of Liguria. It is situated approximately 90 kilometres southwest of Genoa and about 6 kilometres north of the city of Imperia.
As of December 31, 2004, the municipality covers an area of 14.5 square kilometres and has a population of 2,159 residents.
