Noli is a coastal comune located in the Liguria region of Italy. It is situated within the Province of Savona and lies approximately 50 kilometres (31 mi) southwest of Genoa by rail. The town sits at an elevation of about 4 metres (13 ft) above sea level.
The origin of the name Noli may be derived from the Greek word Neapolis, which translates to "new city."
