Montoggio is a comune located in the Italian region of Liguria. It is situated within the Metropolitan City of Genoa, positioned approximately 14 kilometres (9 mi) northeast of the city of Genoa.
The municipality covers an area of 46.4 square kilometres (17.9 mi2). As of October 2006, Montoggio had a recorded population of 2,018 residents.
