Dolceacqua is a comune located in the Province of Imperia within the Liguria region of Italy. It is situated approximately 120 kilometres southwest of Genoa and about 35 kilometres west of Imperia, positioned near the border with France.
As of December 31, 2014, the municipality covered an area of 20.2 square kilometres and had a population of 2,078 residents.
