Cogoleto is a comune located in the Metropolitan City of Genoa within the Italian region of Liguria. It is situated approximately 25 kilometres (16 mi) west of Genova.
The municipality's territory extends from the sea to the Ligurian Apennines. It is also part of the Natural Regional Park of Monte Beigua.
