Brugnato is a comune located in the Province of La Spezia within the Italian region of Liguria. It is situated approximately 70 kilometres southeast of Genoa and about 15 kilometres northwest of La Spezia.
The municipality covers an area of 12.0 square kilometres and had a recorded population of 1,205 as of December 31, 2004. It shares borders with the municipalities of Borghetto di Vara, Rocchetta di Vara, Sesta Godano, and Zignago.
