Bonassola is a comune, or municipality, located in the Province of La Spezia within the Italian region of Liguria. It is situated approximately 60 kilometres southeast of Genoa and about 20 kilometres northwest of La Spezia.
As of December 31, 2004, the municipality covered an area of 9.3 square kilometres and had a population of 945 residents.
