Bolano is a comune located in the Province of La Spezia within the Liguria region of Italy. It is situated approximately 80 kilometres southeast of Genoa and about 11 kilometres northeast of La Spezia.
As of December 31, 2004, the municipality covered an area of 14.7 square kilometres and had a population of 7,490 residents.
