Bogliasco is a comune located in the Italian region of Liguria within the Metropolitan City of Genoa. It is situated approximately 11 kilometres southeast of Genoa and forms part of an area known as the Golfo Paradiso, along with the municipalities of Camogli, Recco, Pieve Ligure, and Sori.
The local economy is primarily driven by tourism. Additionally, the region supports agricultural activities, which include the production of olives.
