Zagarolo is a town and comune located in the Metropolitan City of Rome within the Lazio region of central Italy. It is situated approximately 34 kilometres (21 miles) southeast of the city of Rome.
The municipality borders several other local areas, including Colonna, Gallicano nel Lazio, Monte Compatri, Palestrina, Rome, and San Cesareo.
