Ventotene is a city located in Italy, situated on one of the Pontine Islands in the Tyrrhenian Sea. It is positioned approximately 46 kilometres off the coast of Gaeta, at the border between the regions of Lazio and Campania.
The municipality belongs to the province of Latina within the region of Lazio. As of 2008, Ventotene had a population of 708 permanent residents.
