Vejano, also known as Veiano, is a comune located in the Province of Viterbo within the Italian region of Latium. The municipality is situated on the Mignone river, approximately 60 kilometres northwest of Rome and 40 kilometres south of Viterbo. It sits at an altitude of about 400 meters between the hills of Tolfa and Cimini.
The village is primarily agricultural and features La Rocca as its main monument. This imposing castle is characterized by its triangular shape, fortified walls, and construction excavated directly into tuff rock. Historically, the settlement was originally called Viano before being renamed Veggiano in 1845 and finally Vejano in 1872.
