Vallinfreda is a comune, or municipality, situated in the Italian region of Lazio. It is part of the Metropolitan City of Rome and is located approximately 45 kilometres (28 miles) northeast of the city of Rome.
The town serves as a local administrative center within its respective province. Its geographical position places it in the northeastern outskirts of the metropolitan area surrounding the capital city.
