Ponza is the largest island within the Italian Pontine Islands archipelago. It is situated in the Tyrrhenian Sea, approximately 33 km (21 mi) south of Cape Circeo.
The island serves as the namesake for its own commune, which is located within the province of Latina in the Lazio region of Italy.
