Poggio Mirteto is a comune, or municipality, located in the Tiber Valley area within the region of Latium, Italy. It falls under the administrative jurisdiction of the province of Rieti.
Geographically, the municipality is situated approximately 45 kilometres (28 mi) northeast of Rome and about 20 kilometres (12 mi) southwest of Rieti.
