Piansano is a comune located in the Province of Viterbo within the Italian region of Latium. It is situated approximately 90 kilometres northwest of Rome and about 25 kilometres northwest of Viterbo.
The municipality covers an area of 26.5 square kilometres. As of December 31, 2004, Piansano had a recorded population of 2,232 residents.
