Orvinio is a comune, or municipality, located in the Province of Rieti within the Italian region of Latium. Geographically, it is situated approximately 45 kilometres (28 mi) northeast of Rome and about 30 kilometres (19 mi) south of Rieti.
The town is recognized as one of the "Borghi più belli d'Italia," a designation highlighting its status as one of the most beautiful villages in Italy.
