Oriolo Romano is a comune, or municipality, located in the Province of Viterbo within the Italian region of Latium. It is situated in a hilly area positioned approximately 40 kilometres (25 mi) northwest of Rome and about 30 kilometres (19 mi) south of Viterbo.
The town is notably located near the ancient Via Clodia, an important historical road in the region. Its geographical setting characterizes it as a rural municipality within the inland landscape of central Italy.
