Mentana is a town and comune located in the Metropolitan City of Rome within the Lazio region of central Italy. It is situated approximately 29 kilometres (18 miles) north-east of the capital city, Rome.
The municipality serves as a former bishopric and currently functions as a Latin Catholic titular see. Mentana has a population of about 23,000 residents.
