Marano Equo is a comune located in the Metropolitan City of Rome within the Italian region of Latium. The municipality is situated approximately 45 kilometres (28 mi) east of Rome.
The town is characterized by its geography, standing on a steep slope that descends toward the Aniene valley. It is positioned near the Monti Simbruini mountains.
