Lanuvio is a comune, or municipality, situated in the Italian region of Latium. It is located within the Metropolitan City of Rome, positioned approximately 30 kilometres (19 mi) southeast of the city of Rome.
The town is geographically situated on the Alban Hills. It serves as a local administrative division within its metropolitan area.
