Cittareale is a comune, or municipality, situated in the Province of Rieti within the Italian region of Latium. It serves as a local administrative division located in the central part of the country.
The town is positioned approximately 100 kilometres (62 mi) northeast of Rome and about 35 kilometres (22 mi) northeast of the city of Rieti.
