Cineto Romano is a comune, or municipality, situated in the Metropolitan City of Rome within the Italian region of Latium. It is located approximately 40 kilometres (25 mi) northeast of the city of Rome.
The municipality was historically known as Scarpe until it was renamed Cineto Romano in 1882.
