Casape is a comune, or municipality, situated in the Italian region of Latium. It is located within the Metropolitan City of Rome, positioned approximately 30 kilometres (19 mi) east of the city of Rome.
The town is geographically situated on the western slopes of the Monti Prenestini mountain range. It serves as a rural settlement characterized by its location in the surrounding countryside of the metropolitan area.
