Tricesimo is a comune located in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region of northeastern Italy. It falls within the regional decentralization entity of Udine, situated approximately 9 kilometres north of the city of Udine and about 70 kilometres northwest of Trieste.
The municipality covers an area of 17.5 square kilometres. As of December 31, 2004, Tricesimo had a recorded population of 7,471 residents.
