Tavagnacco is a comune, or municipality, located in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region of northeastern Italy. It falls within the regional decentralization entity of Udine and is situated approximately 8 kilometres (5 mi) north of the city of Udine and about 70 kilometres (43 mi) northwest of Trieste.
The municipal seat for Tavagnacco is located in the frazione, or borough, of Feletto Umberto. The town serves as a local administrative center within its regional district.
