San Floriano del Collio is a comune located in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region of northeastern Italy. It falls within the regional decentralization entity of Gorizia and is situated on the national border with Slovenia.
The municipality is positioned approximately 40 kilometres northwest of Trieste and about 6 kilometres northwest of Gorizia. It shares borders with the Slovenian municipality of Brda, as well as the Italian municipalities of Capriva del Friuli, Cormons, Gorizia, and Mossa.
