Sagrado is a comune, or municipality, located in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region of northeastern Italy. It falls within the regional decentralization entity of Gorizia.
The town is situated on the left bank of the Isonzo River. Geographically, it is positioned approximately 13 kilometres (8 miles) southwest of Gorizia and about 35 kilometres (22 miles) northwest of Trieste.
