Nimis

Nimis is a town and comune (municipality) situated in the Regional decentralization entity of Udine, Friuli. It is located within the north-eastern Italian region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, positioned near the border with Slovenia.

The town is situated at the foot of Mount Bernadia. Notable features of the area include a World War I Italian fort and the production of Ramandolo, a well-known sweet white wine.
