Lusevera is a comune, or municipality, located in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region of northeastern Italy. It falls within the regional decentralization entity of Udine and is situated near the national border with Slovenia.
The town is positioned approximately 20 kilometres (12 mi) north of Udine and about 80 kilometres (50 mi) northwest of Trieste. Lusevera shares borders with several other municipalities, including Gemona del Friuli, Montenars, Nimis, Resia, Taipana, Tarcento, Venzone, and the Slovenian municipality of Kobarid.
