Fagagna is a comune located in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region of northeastern Italy. It sits within the regional decentralization entity of Udine, positioned approximately 13 kilometres (8 mi) northwest of the city of Udine and about 80 kilometres (50 mi) northwest of Trieste.
The municipality covers an area of 37.0 square kilometres (14.3 mi2). As of 2011, its population was recorded at 6,279 residents. Fagagna is recognized as one of the "Borghi più belli d'Italia," a designation highlighting its status as one of the most beautiful villages in Italy.
