Dignano is a comune, or municipality, situated in the Italian region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia. It is located within the regional decentralization entity of Udine.
The town is positioned approximately 25 kilometres (16 mi) west of Udine and about 80 kilometres (50 mi) northwest of Trieste.
