Cormons, also known as Cormòns, is a comune located in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region of northeastern Italy. It sits within the regional decentralization entity of Gorizia and is situated near the international border with Slovenia.
The municipality is positioned approximately 12 kilometres (7 mi) west of Gorizia and about 45 kilometres (28 mi) northwest of Trieste. Its geographic location places it in a strategic area bordering the Slovenian territory.
