Cordenons is a comune located in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region of northeastern Italy. It falls under the regional decentralization entity of Pordenone and is situated approximately 4 kilometres northeast of the city of Pordenone and about 90 kilometres northwest of Trieste.
The municipality covers an area of 56.8 square kilometres. As of December 31, 2004, Cordenons had a recorded population of 17,738 residents.
