Caneva is a comune located in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region of northeastern Italy. It falls under the regional decentralization entity of Pordenone and is situated approximately 15 kilometres (9 mi) west of the city of Pordenone and about 110 kilometres (68 mi) northwest of Trieste.
As of December 31, 2004, the municipality covered an area of 42.0 square kilometres (16.2 mi2) with a recorded population of 6,374 residents.
