Campoformido is a town and comune located in the province of Udine within the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region of northeastern Italy. As a municipality, it has a recorded population of 7,743 residents.

The location is historically significant as the site of the 1797 Treaty of Campo Formio. This treaty was a major diplomatic agreement that reshaped the political landscape of Europe during the late 18th century.
