Vernasca is a comune, or municipality, located in the Province of Piacenza within the Italian region of Emilia-Romagna. Geographically, it is situated approximately 120 kilometres (75 mi) northwest of Bologna and about 30 kilometres (19 mi) southeast of Piacenza.
The town is recognized as one of I Borghi più belli d'Italia, a designation highlighting its status as one of the most beautiful villages in Italy.
