Rivergaro is a comune located in the Province of Piacenza within the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy. It is situated approximately 20 kilometres (12 mi) southwest of Piacenza and about 150 kilometres (93 mi) northwest of Bologna.
As of December 31, 2011, the municipality covered an area of 43.8 square kilometres (16.9 mi2) with a recorded population of 6,843 residents.
