Pianello Val Tidone is a comune, or municipality, situated in the Province of Piacenza within the Italian region of Emilia-Romagna. It is located approximately 25 kilometres (16 mi) southwest of the city of Piacenza and about 160 kilometres (99 mi) northwest of Bologna.
The town serves as a local administrative center in the northern part of the province, positioned within the geographical landscape of the Emilia-Romagna region.
