Pecorara is a town and former municipality located in the Province of Piacenza within the Emilia-Romagna region of northern Italy. It is situated approximately 30 kilometres (19 mi) southwest of Piacenza and about 160 kilometres (99 mi) northwest of Bologna.
Since 2018, Pecorara has functioned as a frazione of the comune of Alta Val Tidone. It remains a recognized locality within the administrative structure of the province.
