Palanzano is a comune located in the Province of Parma within the Italian region of Emilia-Romagna. It is situated approximately 40 kilometres south of Parma and about 90 kilometres west of Bologna.
The municipality shares borders with several neighboring towns, including Corniglio, Monchio delle Corti, Neviano degli Arduini, Tizzano Val Parma, Ventasso, and Vetto.
