Novellara is a town and comune (municipality) located in the province of Reggio Emilia within the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy. It currently has a population of 13,301 residents.
The town is situated approximately 18 kilometres north of the city of Reggio Emilia. It features a railway station that serves the local train line connecting Reggio to Guastalla.
