Medesano is a comune located in the Province of Parma within the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy. It is situated approximately 15 kilometres (9 mi) southwest of Parma and about 100 kilometres (62 mi) northwest of Bologna.
As of May 31, 2007, the municipality covered an area of 88.8 square kilometres (34.3 mi2) with a population of 10,221 residents.
