Cesena is a city and comune located in the Emilia-Romagna region of northern Italy. It serves as one of the two capitals of the Province of Forlì-Cesena, alongside the city of Forlì. The municipality has a total population of 97,137 residents.

Geographically, Cesena is situated near the Apennine Mountains and lies approximately 15 kilometres from the Adriatic Sea. The city is served by the Autostrada A14 highway, providing a primary transportation link for the region.
