Casalgrande is a comune located in the Province of Reggio Emilia within the Emilia-Romagna region of northern Italy. It is situated approximately 15 kilometres southeast of Reggio Emilia and about 50 kilometres west of Bologna.
As of January 8, 2017, the municipality covers an area of 37.7 square kilometres and has a population of 19,215 residents.
