Villaricca is a comune, or municipality, situated in the Campania region of southern Italy. It is located within the Metropolitan City of Naples, positioned approximately 10 kilometers northwest of the city of Naples.
The town was historically known as Panicocoli until May 17, 1871, at which point it was renamed Villaricca. It serves as a local administrative division in the metropolitan area surrounding Naples.
