Sessa Aurunca is a town and comune located in the province of Caserta within the Campania region of southern Italy. It is situated on the southwest slope of the extinct volcano known as Roccamonfina.
The municipality is positioned approximately 40 kilometres (25 mi) by rail west-northwest of Caserta and 30 kilometres (19 mi) east of Formia.
