Saviano is a comune located in the Campania region of southern Italy. It is situated within the Metropolitan City of Naples, positioned approximately 25 kilometers (16 miles) northeast of the city of Naples.
The municipality covers a total area of 13.8 square kilometers (5.3 square miles). As of December 31, 2004, Saviano had a recorded population of 15,114 residents.
