San Giorgio a Cremano is a city and comune located in the Metropolitan City of Naples within the Campania region of Southern Italy. Situated approximately five kilometres southeast of the center of Naples, the municipality lies on the foothills of Mount Vesuvius to the west of both the volcano and the Tyrrhenian Sea.
The area is notable for its geographic positioning, which provides commanding views of several prominent landmarks including Mount Vesuvius, Mount Somma, and the Bay of Naples.
