Grottaminarda is a town and comune located in the province of Avellino within the Campania region of southwestern Italy. It is positioned approximately 80 kilometres (50 mi) northeast of the city of Naples.
The municipality serves as a local administrative center in the interior of the Campania region, situated in the mountainous landscape characteristic of the province of Avellino.
